The common Admission Test (CAT) is considered the gateway to the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) – unarguably the best business schools in the country. Apart from the six IIMs, at Ahmedabad, Bangalore , Calcutta , Lucknow , Indore and Kozikode, around 25 other Indian business schools like S.P. Jain, MDI, Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) etc. accept CAT scores as a first entrance criterion. CAT is said to be the toughest management entrance test globally. And that so for good reasons.
