The MAT (conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), is conducted 4 times a year. i.e. December, January/February, May and September.
The student while filling up the MAT registration form has the option to choose five management institutes. If a student wants his score to be sent to more institutes, he should pay Rs. 50/- before the test date for each additional institute. The MAT score after processing of the results will be sent to the management institutes chosen in the form and to the candidates as a scorecard.
The whole test has been divided into 5 sections. All the sections are compulsory, but the composite score is based on the first four sections. Management institutes use the score of the fifth section in accordance with their respective norms and its usage is optional. The structure of the test is as follows.
